You can now do this directly from within Microsoft Excel. The free GeoIQ Excel Toolbar integrates the public GeoCommons community as well as your organization’s GeoIQ servers into your Excel workflow.
With a click of a button you can instantly search for any data across GeoCommons’ 50,000+ public datasets by keyword or geographic region. You can then download the data directly into your workbook and complete your own analysis using your familiar Excel tools. When you have finished editing your data, you can then upload it directly back to GeoCommons or GeoIQ for sharing with your groups or colleagues.
The GeoIQ Excel toolbar works with Microsoft Windows XP and Windows 7.
