FCC IssueMap

IssueMap is a project by the FCC and GeoIQ to make it easier for citizens to create their own maps and share them widely. The process is super simple. You just need a spreadsheet or table of data that references a commons geographic boundary and a set of values you would like to map to those boundaries. Follow the simple two step process and you’ll have a thematic map you can share across you social networks (Twitter, Facebook, email) and your audience can grab the map as an embed, download an image, grab the map as KML or get the raw data as a .csv.

Appcelerator’s Titanium+Geo combines cross-platform mobile applications with GeoIQ to deliver applications that measure mobile usage and marketing impact on business. Titanium+Geo developers utilize the GeoIQ data management and analysis APIs.

World Bank

The World Bank Mapping for Results platform uses GeoCommons for storing and visualizing sub-national development indicators and project locations. The site makes use of the JavaScript map and chart visualization APIs.

Digital Gazette

Deployed to work offline in cities and villages throughout Afghanistan and Pakistan, the Digital Gazette platform combines the CrabGrass content management platform with GeoIQ to provide a data sharing and mapping tool for locals and organizations who are planning communities and aid projects.
